With race locations such as breakfast tables, science labs, restaurants, classrooms and ponds, you'll have to deal with the natural hazards like the family dog or bunsen burners. The addition of pickup weapons is just plain evil, as you'll find great joy in squishing your opponents with a giant mallets or obliterating them with your cannon.
