Micromachines V3 is complete multiplayer mayhem. With up to eight players with the addition of multitaps, this game is a prime contender for king of 'night in with a few friends' title. Take control of any of the 32 vehicles, ranging from power boats to ice cream vans, and do your worst in the fight for first place. Of course, things aren't that simple. With race locations such as breakfast tables, science labs, restaurants, classrooms and ponds, you'll have to deal with the natural hazards like the family dog or bunsen burners. The addition of pickup weapons is just plain evil, as you'll find great joy in squishing your opponents with a giant mallets or obliterating them with your cannon. Single players aren't left out in the cold with the option of time trials, leagues races, special prize vehicles to keep you enthralled when your friends are no longer enough of a challenge.
