Even though the development studio is now defunct, Gremlin's legacy lives on thanks to the efforts of Zoo Digital Publishing. Gremlin's Actua series is one of its most fondly remembered offerings - a sports range that was the cream of the crop in its early PlayStation heyday. Well now it's been revived with Actua Soccer 3 on PC. One of its last games before it went the way of the extinctosaurus, Gremlin's Actua Soccer 3 is arguably the best of the bunch, improving on the previous two games greatly. It delivered fresh team information, new statistics and better graphics. Gameplay was still competitive, but less frustrating than that of the first two incarnations, and the controls were nicely polished too. Even though this PC release is a little dated, the gameplay is still there and that's what really counts.
