Do the lads at Sports Interactive have girlfriends? If so, do they ever get to see them? Love and Research in North London sounds like the snappy name of the latest Brit-flick rom-com, but it could easily be the subtitle for this game. These boys obviously love their research. How else could you explain the depth of detail that's gone into Championship Manager 3? At the top of the league as far as this genre is concerned, Sports Interactive and Eidos deliver the goods year after year. If you're missing that something in your life so much that you feel the need to lead a secret life as a troubled soccer manager, CM3 is the ideal solution. There's nothing like coming home after a tough day at the office and subjecting yourself to yet more idiocy and frustration, albeit virtual. But who needs it, honestly? Well, those without power at work will enjoy making the decisions, megalomaniacs will appreciate the ridiculous amounts flying around, and people whose idea of visual stimulation is watching grass grow will marvel at what's on their monitor. Suffice to say that if you're not a football fan or you have a packed calendar, CM3 would be surplus to requirements. However, those with even the faintest interest in football and the machinations behind it will cherish the CM3 experience. All the leagues and competitions from around the world are here, and so are the clubs and players. It's a huge accomplishment by Sports Interactive and the collective flat cap of the veteran manager clique is doffed in their direction once again.

Delta Force: BlackHawk DownThe Delta Force series of games, much loved by players of the FPS strategy game, has come a long way since its first outing in the late 1990's.
