SWAT 3, Desktop Computer
As the second sequel to a series of popular titles, SWAT 3 is a new tactical driven combat game, based around the laws of the United States of America. SWAT 3 is based in Los Angeles, 2005; a crucial moment in history when a treaty was to be signed for the abolishment of nuclear materials. It's SWAT's responsibility to ensure things run smoothly, and that no threat is posed. As a player, you are also restricted to the laws of the US Government, and if any orders are disobeyed, there will be hell to pay. As a videogame, you would normally be restricted to positive actions within the SWAT team, but this isn't the case here. If you think you can shoot at your team mates for a little fun, you're wrong. One shot fired, and you will have murdered one of your team mates, forcing them to take you down. Once you've had your fun, it's time to get down to business and do your job. There will be terrorists, there will be guns, and if absolutely necessary, there will be firing. This game is one of the most tactical based games ever created, and as such, you need the patience of a saint. Have a nice day!

Screamer 4X4As popular as the racing genre is today, there aren't many games that can keep a player's attention for a lengthy period of time. Racing around the same old tracks, both on and off road, can quickly become a monotonous task that leaves the player challenging their lap times and nothing else. Screamer 4x4 takes a seemingly easier option and temporarily rids the video game world of linear racing in ...

Half-Life: Opposing ForceReleased back in 1998, Half-Life made a huge impact within the world of video games. Developed by Valve, this game showed what a PC was truly capable of when attached to a 3D accelerator of some kind. What's more, in a day of 3D accelerator games only, Half-Life is one of the rare titles around that doesn't require a graphics card of some type, making this game accessible to full PC audience. Ther...
