Theme Park Inc., Desktop Computer
When Bullfrog developed Theme Park World on PC, the follow up to the successful Theme Park, the transition to 3D proved to be a giant leap that eventually led to massive. But with the theme park industry becoming more advanced, an update is now overdue. To keep up with the new era of the vertical-drop rollercoaster is EA's newly produced Theme Park Inc. You begin Theme Park Inc as the assistant manager of a newly opened theme park that consists of only one ride. After being given $50,000 in investment money, you must use it to create some of the most thrilling rides known to man. However, you need to be careful not to build something so extreme that it terrifies the very souls of your paying customers. In all there are a whopping 200 varieties of theme park attractions to build, including 18 varieties of rollercoasters. But building and riding your creations is only part of the package as an assistant manager. You must also learn to manage your finances, keep your rides in good condition and keep your customers happy. On the multi-player front there is no simultaneous play option available, but there is a coaster design kit that allows you to let your imagination run wild. What's more, you are able to swap your designs with any other owners of the game. Theme Park Inc doesn't incorporate the technical nous of the Rollercoaster Tycoon series, but its less serious approach makes it much less hardcore and more appealing to a wider audience.

One outstanding point is the arcade-style “tuning”...
Silent Hill 2 Director's CutThe first Silent Hill outing for the PC platform, Konami's Director's Cut takes the winning formula of PlayStation 2's Silent Hill 2 and blends it with the much-vaunted extras seen in the Xbox version, Inner Fears. Silent Hill 2 was once a sacred place for lead character James, but it's not what it used to be, as players of the original will attest. There's an abundance of stained mattresses, dirt...
