Family Fortunes, Desktop Computer
The infamous and long running game show, Family Fortunes has been released for PC courtesy of Infogrames. Family Fortunes gives players the opportunity to participate, albeit in digital form, in the legendary show. The game features a massive 1,600 survey questions, to each of which there is a multitude of available answers, only a few of which will score you points. As in the TV show, if players choose to 'play' instead of 'pass' and fail to uncover all answers to the survey questions, the money can be stolen from the competitor. Featuring the one and only Les Dennis, the Family Fortunes playing environment consists of a pre-rendered studio, an annoying selection of pictures of Les Dennis and modelled families of five. Family members can be customised to suit personal preference. Features such as hair and skin colour are just a few tweaks that can be made to personalise Family Fortunes. There are two modes of play, Solo and Party. While single player is fine for a quick blast, Party mode is much more enjoyable and more sociable. Family Fortunes is set rival both The Weakest Link and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, and with good reason. It's easy to play, uncomplicated, and accessible to players of all ages.

Combat Flight Collection 2Combat Flight Simulator No other company has harnessed the power of the PC better than Microsoft, and this is shown in Combat Flight Simulator. Visually, you can alter many specifications of the game's features to coincide with the capabilities of your graphics card, so the more power you have, the better performance you will get on screen. Graphics aside, the 'real realism' is present in flight p...
Broken Sword: The Sleeping DragonBroken Sword has been around for a long, long time - the original was one of the most popular 'point and click' adventure games of the 90's. True, the original looks a little rough dated now, but George and Nico look an awful lot better - and easier on the eye - in this new adventure for PC, The Sleeping Dragon. Broken Sword has made the leap into the third dimension. We've seen Broken Sword on PC...

Delta Force Land WarriorThere is a plethora of “secret military operations” themed first person shooters to choose from these days. Not a bad thing, we're sure you will agree. Delta Force Land Warrior from NovaLogic is one such game, and we like it very much. From the outset, the tone and feeling imparted upon the player is pretty dark. You are required to kill your enemies without thought or compassion, whil...

Shadow Ops: Red MercuryThe latest video game to raise an arm and say aye in favour of the 'games are becoming like movies' debate is Shadow Ops: Red Mercury. A gritty and realistic first-person shooter in which you step into the combat boots of an elite Delta Force operative, the game draws its inspiration from the typical Hollywood action flick and, as a result, benefits from some pretty high production values, which r...
