Comanche 4, Desktop Computer
Comanche 4 is the latest in the popular helicopter series that has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. A scalable flight model allows for an exciting, unique shooter for action fans, while providing an authentic flight experience for hardened sim fans. Pilots can test their skills by selecting finer control over the helicopter, resulting in increased difficulty due to risk of blade stall, over-torque and more. Gunners will have a full armament, including Stinger heat-seeking and Hellfire laser-guided missiles. Through thirty missions, players will undertake a variety of ground attack, air combat and support missions, ranging from attacking drug smugglers in speedboats, to supporting special forces, to protecting the President of the United States. Tropical, desert, urban and snow-covered terrain are all represented. The missions also have challenging enemies who will attack aggressively from the air and on the ground, including Black Shark helicopters and troops with Stinger missiles. Comanche 4 is built from the ground up, starting with an all-new, fully accelerated, 3D polygon graphics engine. The game utilises the latest T&L technology to showcase stunning effects such as rotor wash effects on both water and ground and impressive tree densities. Players are able to destroy just about everything in the game, including buildings, vehicles and foliage, resulting in massively detailed explosions and terrain scarring.
