Sim City 4: Rush Hour, Desktop Computer
Still the best known and most popular management series in the business, EA's Sim City has come a long way in the last decade, with Sim City 4 proving to be the most spectacular and extensive yet. That has now been reinforced with the addition of the game's first expansion pack, Sim City 4: Rush Hour. Players not satisfied with managing water systems, waste disposal, airports, power plants and taxes now have the privilege of taking care of a city's transport system in a very in-depth way. Until now, players could build roads, highways and railways, but that was as detailed as it got. Players now have the facility to construct wider avenues to accommodate extra traffic and ease congestion, design one-way systems and build suspension bridges. As players begin to improve the city's transport system, more features will be unlocked, enabling further progress. In addition to managing road networks, players are also given the opportunity to offer other means of transport, some of which are less conventional than others. There are also railways, ferries, helicopters and even zeppelin-type airships to consider. There is also a European building set at your disposal, offering authentic buildings to give your city a little culture. It's a great edition to the latest Sim City game, and is probably the first of many.

Well, now it's been revived with Actua Tennis on PC. Though the Actua se...

Dark Reign: Future of WarActivision's Dark Reign: Future of War is a welcome addition to the ever-growing PC real-time strategy genre in which the usual threats to Earth occur for you to eliminate. It's hard work being the hero. Still, 'Saviour of Earth' is a title worth striving for, at least in a virtual sense. Dark Reign is very much a run-of-the-mill RTS game, but it's certainly one of the better combat-based experien...
