Dungeons and Dragons: The Temple of Elemental Evil - A Classic Greyhawk Adventure, Desktop Computer
The PC RPG is quite different from console equivalent, and is generally known to be a little more hardcore. Many of these games follow the infamous Dungeons and Dragons ruleset to ensure challenging, fair and skilful gameplay, and the most anticipated of its kind is Troika's Temple of Elemental Evil. When the Temple of Elemental Evil was torched in an epic battle many years ago, it was eventually forgotten, fading to a distant memory. Until now, at least, as a new threat begins to rear its ugly head for another bout of good versus evil. Beginning your adventure in the realm of Greyhawk, you will follow the guidelines of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 ruleset as you command a team of five playable characters and three followers through a vast game world. Gameplay is indeed somewhat complicated, but no more so than any other PC RPG. Complete with endless myriad screens an endless options, players must have their team of fighters master the arts of magic and combat to survive. Potentially there is a huge list of spells and skills to teach your group, but it will take time, effort and literally hundreds of enemy encounters to master them all. The fantasy gaming locales in the Greyhawk world are nothing short of breathtaking. The isometric environments are bustling with detail and colour, and are littered with numerous foes and reactive NPCs (non-playable characters). It's simply beautiful, through and through. And that's the essence of Elemental Evil. Command your allies, lead them to victory and destroy the evil that lurks at the heart of the Greyhawk world. A classic PC role-playing game.
