An expansion pack in the traditional sense, Treasures, Monsters and Pirates introduces a host of new features to the popular world-building sim Anno 1503. At the top of the bill are three new continuous play games (featuring both new elements and islands to explore), 12 new single-player scenarios of varying degrees of difficulty, and a new battle scenario designed especially for newcomers to the Anno 1503 universe, which offers players a quick sense of achievement. As well as adding new gameplay features, Treasures, Monsters and Pirates also brightens up your Anno 1503 experience with a host of graphical additions, including ornamental parks and gardens, 10 new house designs, and additional animals such as bears and gorillas. Other additions found in the expansion pack include a clearer stats screen, which shows detailed information on the city's economic status, new scenario opponents such as spiders, crocodiles and robbers, improved construction options, and the ability to board ships.
