The game comes with appropriate buildings, vehicles, industries and even background music to match the year at hand, giving players a real feeling of progression. As a game, your job as tycoon is a tough. Though you'll be granted adequate cash and resources to launch and maintain your transport system, you'll also have competition from as many as 14 other shrewd companies, all chasing the same goal. An easy-to-use Rollercoaster Tycoon-style interface will help keep players up to speed in the simulation, but ultimately it's your business decisions and transport designs that will lead you to financial security or bankruptcy. Expanding the game further are more than 40 pre-determined scenarios, offering an extra challenge to those who prove themselves capable. Alternatively, you can go head-to-head with another in a multi-player game that is rarely seen in the genre. And that's it. There's clearly lots to be getting on with, and the pace of the game is such that it leaves virtually no room for any of that mindless waiting typical of the genre. It's all going on.
