EverQuest II: Kingdom of Sky, Desktop Computer
EverQuest II Kingdom of Sky is the second expansion pack for the popular and long-running MMO title, brought to eager-MMO'ers in Europe by Ubisoft and Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE). EverQuest II Kingdom of Sky packs a load of new features and environments and is pretty much a must-buy for any EverQuester. The story goes like this. High above the mightiest peaks of Norrath, a secret world exists. This Overrealm, made up of enormous islands of land suspended in the air, is home to aviaks and creatures never-before seen, but it is the splintered and warring dragons who rule it, including the mighty dragon Lord Nagafen! Driven by their lust for power, religious zealotry, and all-consuming rage, the most ancient of the world's creatures now find common cause in a plot to destroy all of Norrath! Kingdom of Sky introduces a structured Achievement system of skills and abilities to further specialise and individualise your character, while level caps for characters, artisans and guilds are all increased. There's loads more additional stuff to keep players happy, including brand new pieces of armour, such as Profession Hats, Helmets and Pauldrons, to make your character look more distinct. Arena challenges and adventure zones are also expanded in Kingdom of Sky, with four deadly new arena champions, two new arena zones and ten new adventure zones, from lush jungles to temples of unimaginable splendour. The game also introduces 25 new enemies and troves full of new treasures open up fresh new aspects of game play. Perhaps the most interesting and exciting new feature for fans of the series is the Player versus Player combat - a highly anticipated addition to the game that allows players to fight each other. PvP features good versus evil combat, pitting citizens of the two rival cities of Qeynos and Freeport against each other. Players earn items, titles, fame and experience while engaged in combat with other online gamers around the globe, fighting either in the wild or within the gates of your opponent's city.
