Ah, the mighty OutRun returns. The daddy of all arcade racers. Sega's OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast has all the features that fans love and loads of new ones. The Ferrari license brings a 12-car line-up to the game, so you'll soon be drifting a range of extremely expensive red Ferraris around the many bends of this arcade dreamworld, whilst attempting to win the heart of your baby beside you at the wheel. Cars featured include the all-new F430 and the dazzling Superamerica. Feel the throaty whine and that distinctive Ferrari exhaust tone as you power and drift your way across 30 glorious stages. Stages featured in the game are from the best of the OutRun2 original, and also from the new OutRun2 SP arcade experience. The game also has a fresh new mission structure, a license mode and online play with up to six players. Ferraris, beautiful girls, sublime scenery from the sun-drenched sands of Palm Beach to the charms of Cape Way - what more could you possibly want? The game has that 'just-one-more-go' factor which has always been a characteristic of the OutRun series. The opportunity to unlock new tracks, cars and much more only adds to the sublime playability of OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast. UK developers Sumo Digital Ltd, should be applauded for really developing the series in some great new ways, whilst retaining the key playability of perhaps the greatest of arcade driving games.
