Vigilante 8, Electronic Games
As you may have gathered through the title, Vigilante 8, is the latest addition to a series of titles. As the name suggests, Vigilante 8 is all about destroying everything in sight. Unaccompanied by a RAM expansion pak, Vigilante 8 is not outstanding to look at. The 3-dimensional environments are huge, ranging from active airfields (watch out for the planes!), to cable car ridden snowfields. Using the environments provided, your challenge is to destroy the opposing vehicles and fulfil the tasks set at hand. To aid you in this insane proposition, there are a number of power-ups for you to collect. Namely, weapons. All weapons have advantages and disadvantages. Some weapons are inaccurate, and others are powerful. There are no weapons that fulfil both criteria. Making the challenge fair. Other options include multiplayer games, survival modes and brawls. Single player options are limited and will not last for an eternity. Get some friends however, and the longevity of this title is given a huge boost. In multiplayer options you and your friends can either team up in a cooperative battle, for you can vow for the fun option; battling against each other. If you're ever feeling a little stressed, take it out on Vigilante 8.

BratzThe super cool, girl band-esque quintet with a passion for fashion have made their way over to the Game Boy Advance and are now starring in their very own 'dress-up 'n' dance' game. In similar vein to Britney's Dance Beat, the game takes the form of a rhythm action dance-em-up and is very much targeted at the younger female gamer. As the story goes, an extremely important dance competition has bee...

Far Cry InstinctsLast year saw the long-awaited releases of Doom 3 and Half Life 2, both sequels to hugely successful PC First Person Shooters, which both enjoyed rather predictable success as FPS fans hurried to snap up the latest must-have shooting fest. Arguably of equal stature in 2004's huge line up of FPSs was the original IP Far Cry. Developed by CryTek and using their impressive homegrown CryEngine, the ga...
