Sega GT, Electronic Games
If you are a fan of the racing game genre, Sega have developed a game that is going to blow your mind. Introducing Sega GT exclusive for the Dreamcast. This is more than a racing game, this is a simulation of the finest calibre. Sega GT is the Dreamcast's answer to Polyphony's Gran Turismo. What we have here is a difficult but rewarding game, a game that will completely test your driving skill. In Sega GT there are over 200 different cars from all of the world's top manufacturers for you to choose from. The Dodge Viper, Nissan Skyline and the Honda NSX all come highly recommended. To start the game you must first pass your driving license test and then purchase a car of your choice. There are several tests that must completed for you to make it onto the higher difficult levels and more importantly onto the faster cars. Sega GT has a fantastic selection of tracks on offer, more than 21 in total. The track layout is well thought out and the courses have that flowing feeling. As you win races you will earn prize money. This cash can be used to upgrade your car, buy new cars or even build your own car from scratch. The graphical power of the Dreamcast really shows through on Sega GT. This game looks stunning and runs at a silky smooth frame rate. Even in the two-player mode, the smoothness is consistent. What Sega have managed to get right is the feel of this game. Especially if you are playing with a steering wheel, it is very easy to get lost in Sega GT once you have got the hang of it. Learning the tracks, cars and courses takes time, but you will enjoy every minute of it.
