Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour, Electronic Games
I've never been to Disneyworld and I don't know anyone who has, but if it's as action-packed as this game, then a visit is surely on the cards. The game itself is 128 bits-worth of a good-looking beast, utilising every last drop of the Dreamcast's processing power, and playability is top of the pops. You can even use the steering wheel peripheral if you own one. Maximum joy! Not just your average racer, a la Mario Kart or Muppet Race Mania for example, Magical Racing Tour, like every Disney product, has a storyline, albeit a slight one. Those curious chipmunks, Chip 'n Dale, have accidentally broken the fireworks machine, scattering pieces throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. It's now up to you to collect all the parts before nightfall so the fireworks show can go on. With six vehicles racing at one time, the going can get tough, but if you're aware of the value of the power-ups and short-cuts, and you manage to get to them before your opponents, progress through Disneyworld should be a little easier. All kinds of transport and race types are on offer, and you'll find yourself travelling by land, sea and sky, all on one disc. So ladies and gentlemen (and chipmunks) start your engines for the zaniest race around. Just beware of being transformed into a teacup!

Gladiator: Sword of VengeanceThe single-player “kill-em-up” is the type of game we don't see much of these days. Nintendo typically opts for childlike gameplay lacking in violent content, whilst others tend to stick with a traditional beat-em-up frenzy. Acclaim's Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance for Xbox is one such title that goes back to Roman times and follows the adventures of a lone warrior fighting for survival...
