Totally Spies Adventures, Electronic Games
Totally Spies Adventures allows you to play as one of three typical Beverly Hills girls who secretly work for the WOOHP (World Organisation Of Human Protection). Well okay, in that respect they are maybe not so typical! You get to play as Alex, Sam and Clover through five missions and 16 sub-missions. Your WOOHP boss Jerry will provide you with some hi-tech and high-fashion gadgets along the way, such as the lipstick-microphone or the multi-function Charm Bracelet. Your mission is to prevent earth from a global crisis: infiltrating a chemical site, pursuing a criminal on a snow bike, saving hostages, protecting celebrities - all without even breaking a nail. Playing through the various missions, you get to use your high-tech gadgets against evil, to take control of different vehicles and, of course, be 'totally' a spy and a fashion girl from Beverly Hills. Awesome!

Spartan: Total WarriorCorporate takeovers aren't all bad. Creative Assembly, the British developers behind the Total War series of games were bought up by SEGA not so long ago. As well as the undoubtedly powerful market presence of the Total War engine and IP, there was one other, rather more SEGA-ish game in development that caught the eye of their would-be Japanese overlords. That game was Spartan: Total Warrior. The...
Tony Hawk's UndergroundAn extreme sport that has become immensely popular all over the world, skateboarding has also become one of the best-loved video game genres of the 3D gaming age. There have been three sequels since then, and the established series is now onto its fifth instalment with the 2003 release of...
Fight ClubIt's fair to say that in beat-em-ups there are few that can compete with the likes of Street Fighter, Tekken and Virtua Fighter. Sadly this means others can go unnoticed, but one venture that may be worth a look is Vivendi's Fight Club. Loosely based on the film of the same name, players are pitted as one of ten would-be warriors in a story-led fisticuffs tale in which 'survival of the fittest' is...
