Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Electronic Games
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (DTLJ) is the second instalment of an epic journey that began in 2000 with cult adventure game The Longest Journey. DTLJ is an adventure game set in 2219. The great geopolitical balance of the world Stark has changed immensely. The once powerful West is now far weaker when compared to the countries of the African continent. Life in a universe overrun by technology is defined by innovations that fuse computing and cloning science. DTLJ blends fantasy and the futuristic within an original universe that spans three worlds - the world of science named Stark, the world of magic named Arcadia, and a frightening realm called The Winter. DTLJ features many strange and exotic locations, from a futuristic Casablanca in Stark, to a magic metropolis in Arcadia, to a black house that holds a frightening secret. Zoe Castillo, the main heroine of DTLJ, is haunted by her visions: a black house, a little girl and a desperate plea for help. She wants to know if it is all a dream - or a message. When her friend mysteriously disappears, Zoe discovers a connection between her visions and a terrifying global conspiracy. Now it is up to you, as Zoe, to find her missing friend and save humanity. Your journey will take you across continents, through dangerous lands and into a place that holds the secrets of the past and the key to the future - The Winter.
