Blade, Nintendo Gameboy
Two of the biggest entertainment industries in the world are movies, but more importantly, video games. Since video games began the two industries have grown closer and closer together. Video game tie-ins are very prominent in today's industry and probably always will be. Blade, released across a number of platforms is a fine example of this. The Game Boy Color version may not be the most advanced, but that's not to say it's a bad game. Let's take a look. After switching on your handheld you will be greeted with a brief story of the game you are about to embark on. You will take control of Blade soon after, and once you begin the game proper there's a very good chance a blast from the past will make an appearance. Initial thoughts should conjure up an old classic that goes by the name Streets of Rage, which Blade bares striking similarities to. This is a left-to-right scrolling game that will have you take on many thugs and vampires with your bare hands. Combat skills are limited but easy to accomplish, and as such, allow for some devastating 2D manoeuvres. The other section of the game places Blade in an uncomfortable situation, whereby evil beings will attack from all directions. Thankfully, you are armed with some serious firepower, and so this area of the game shouldn't prove to be to big a challenge. There's no single feature of Blade that makes it stand out from any other, but as a whole it isn't bad, although fans of Blade will get more out of this than others.

None more so in the male population than the infamous Catwoman, who many will now associate with the beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer. And she now belongs to the title of a next-generation Ga...
A Bug's LifeWelcome to a bug's eye view of the world. As Flik, an inventive but occasionally over-enthusiastic ant, players must rescue their home colony from a merciless attack by the seed-grubbing grasshoppers. It's time to get down to business and blast those bad bugs with berries, exploding plants, and any other means necessary-because it's squish or be squished in the mother of all insect insurrections. ...
Xena Warrior PrincessIf you're a fan of the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess and a Game Boy Color owner to boot, it's time to get excited. Drawing on the action and suspense of the show, Xena is similar to Nintendo's Legend of Zelda, something that works very much in its favour. The gameplay in Xena is mostly mission-based. In typical role-playing fashion, you must find your weapons and seek out other characters to in...

Commander KeenClassic platform games, mostly from the eighties and early nineties, have often been regarded as some of the best games to be developed on a console. And although most present day platformers have made the transition from 2D to 3D, the GameBoy hardware is still ideally suited to such old school games. Taking advantage of this, Activision has released Commander Keen for Game Boy Color, a re-release...
ThunderbirdsThere are some human creations that many people would say are better left buried. One of these abominations has to be production of Thunderbirds, although many of the older generation would argue this statement. However embarrassing it may seem, Thunderbirds has been revived in cartridge format for GameBoy Color. While still based around the series, Thunderbirds on GameBoy Color is a video game (d...
