Alien Trilogy, Sony Playstation
With the release of Ridley Scott's “Alien” in 1979, a new Hollywood franchise was born, and is it turns out, became one of the most successful creations in the history of filmmaking. After two sequels, directed by world-renowned directors, the series made its way into the video game industry. Alien Trilogy is one of the first 3D titles based around the nasty little Xenomorph family. Haunted by memories, you hope there is just some small oversight, some simple communications problem. But you know deep down, in the back of your mind, that they are back. Alien Trilogy is creepy in the extreme, and is certainly worthy of the associated films. They're all here, dog-aliens, chest-bursters, face-huggers, ruthless corporate schills and three queen aliens, in more than thirty acid-encrusted levels. Here is all the gut-churning action of the Alien Trilogy in one black-death, white-knuckle nightmare ride.

Scooby Doo! Mystery MayhemOne of the world's most popular cartoons and a personal favourite with ourselves, Scooby Doo and the gang have always been welcome on our screens, thanks to a comical dog and his nerve-shredded sidekick Shaggy. But he also earned a place in video games dating way back to Spectrum days. His virtual outings are still popular today, and to reinforce that, Scooby publisher THQ has unleashed yet anothe...
Curse: The Eye of IsisThe third-person adventure game, perhaps one of the most common gaming genres in the early noughties, has played host to some of the world's best known franchises. Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are perhaps the most notable, taking a step back from the likes of Nintendo's childlike adventures, incorporating a more mature storyline and visuals. The same is true of Wanadoo's Curse: The Eye of Isis fo...
Spawn: ArmageddonOne of the few comic book super heroes not to originate from either the Marvel or the DC Comics worlds, Spawn was popularised by a big screen movie of the same name in 1997 (before Hollywood's obsession with super heroes grew to the uncontrollable state it's in now) and has also appeared in a number of video games in the past. This latest release from Namco is the first we've seen of the devil-dea...
