Alundra 2, Sony Playstation
The long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed Sony Playstation game, Alundra, takes the originality and complexity of the original, inserts a Real-time 3D Polygonal engine, and you into a game world many more times larger than its predecessor. Rotatable camera angles, adjustable viewpoints, 2 hours of dialogue and 40 hours of gameplay come as standard in this future classic. The result is a captivating RPG which those who like a bit of action in their role-playing will be able to absorb themselves in until well after the blisters on their blisters have hardened! You are Flint, a young headstrong renegade, trained from childhood to become a great swordsman. When both of your parents were killed in a pirate raid at sea, you have sworn to dedicate your life to battling the pirates. The Princess Aisha also fights against the pirates because of her loyalty to the evil Count Nijadoll, the villain who has imprisoned her father and installed a puppet regime. Seeing Flint's face on a Pirate Wanted Poster, she sets out on a quest to find the legendary pirate hunter. As our story begins, you are chasing the pirates into an airship owned by the mysterious Mephisto, and uncover a sinister plot of world domination. Over the course of the game, the relationships among the beautiful Aisha, Mephisto, Count Nijadoll, and the pirates are slowly unveiled, resulting in a final showdown over control of the planet.

And when it is, it's usually done by a marketing drone having brokered a deal for advertising with a magazine to get the term included, in order to make a pleasant splash on promotional literature. However, some games really do transcend their low-brow plastic-spooned birth and enter the world of art. This can be a good thing or a bad th...
True Crime: Streets of LAThink Grand Theft Auto 3 meets Shenmue and you're somewhere close to describing this latest martial arts-inspired cop adventure from Activision. In contrast to the former however, you actually play a good guy - an ex-cop by the name of Nick Kang - working as an operative for the Elite Operations Division. You'll be pleased to know he's not too much of a 'good' good guy, though - more of a bad-ass ...

VIPEarly 21st century, and it seems everybody is after a piece of video game cake. Unexpected visitors to the trough are the cast and crew of VIP, a frankly bonkers US TV series featuring Pamela Anderson. For fans of the 'buxotic', PlayStation's VIP couldn't come soon enough. VIP promises a plentiful supply of humour, action, martial arts, and a plethora of very nicely dressed digital babes. Not bad,...
Crash TwinsanityOnce dubbed Sony's first mascot, Crash Bandicoot of PlayStation fame made the transition into all-formats territory when the Naughty Dog franchise became wholly owned by French outfit Vivendi. At the time of writing, the idiotic marsupial is fast approaching his tenth birthday, but his platforming shenanigans are far from obsolete. Enter Crash's latest adventure, Twinsanity. An apt title for a who...
ESPN NBA 2 Night 2002Yup, it's another Konami basketball game, and it's called ESPN NBA 2 Night 2002. It's all just a bunch of letters and numbers, really. It's on PlayStation 2 and it's a direct follow up of 2001's NBA 2 Night for the same platform. There are several reasons why NBA 2 Night is a great sports title for all video games players, and not just Americans. Firstly, it plays extremely well and has an improve...
