Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas, Sony Playstation
John McLane, top cop and the worst nightmare a terrorist ever had, prowls the glittering streets of Las Vegas as the hunter and the hunted. Invited to the city of neon by Kenny Sinclair, an old police buddy from New York, McLane ends up smack-bang in a heap of trouble, and at the business end of a gun. His friend Sinclair has taken up a new position as warden of the Mesa Grande jail in Vegas, and has invited the maverick McLane to a party in the prison being thrown in Sinclair's honour. Unfortunately, and unknown to McLane, the inmates are determined to spoil the fun by starting a riot, just as the party gets started. McLane, once again on suspension from duty, can't believe his (bad) luck. Sinclair, of course, asks the singlet-clad cop to help out, and so McLane finds himself in a familiar situation in an unfamiliar town. As always, the detective stands ready to die hard, but the odds are against him as he battles terrorists intent on wiping Sin City off the map. The action truly is non-stop as you blast your way through twenty-five levels of barely controlled mayhem in three different game styles. Choose the part of the Trilogy you like best, Sharpshooting, Extreme Driving or Adventure, or play in Movie Mode and combine all three as you send McLane into his toughest battle yet.

There have been more than a few Zelda clones produced already, but perhaps the most concise and playable is Staffordshire developer...

Time Crisis 2Action. The game that injected new life into the tired shooting genre was Namco's arcade hit Time Crisis. A revolutionary new style of play was introduced in the form of ducking and shooting. For the first time in a light-gun game, you could control whether you were in the thick of action or hiding behind the scenery. This adds a tactical aspect to the action: ducking and diving avoids enemy fire,...
Pitfall: The Lost ExpeditionIf ever a remake of a classic retro gaming franchise has progressed technologically so amazingly then it has to be this Pitfall title. But having said that, it has been a staggering 22 years since Activision's 'stick man in jungle' romp had the world glued to their Atari 2600 joysticks. Well, 22 years is a long time, especially in the world of video games, and a lot has happened in that time. Acti...
Musashi: Samurai LegendFirst appearing on the Sony PSone, the Brave Fencer Musashi is the creation of Tetsuya Nomura, the character design genius behind Square Enix's Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games. It's been a while, but Musashi now returns to fight for justice on the PS2 in another humorous action-adventure game. As usual, a princess is in trouble, this time one going by the almost microbe-like name of Mycella...
All Star Baseball 2003Baseball is coming to PlayStation 2 again, thanks to Acclaim.
