Championship Manager Quiz takes two of the most popular genres in video gaming - football and quiz show - and combines them in one highly addictive game. The concept is simple. Select your favourite team, answer football-related questions in a variety of categories. If you answer the question successfully, you work your way 'upfield'. Single-player mode is self-explanatory. You have to beat the computer opponent - be warned, he/she/it knows just as much as you do about the beautiful game. Championship Manager Quiz is really built for at least a two-player game. I say at least, because in addition to playing against one friend, a larger group of players can choose to play the Pub Quiz mode. Up to 100 questions are displayed sequentially. The questions advance when the 'X' button is pressed by the quizmaster. Once the questions are exhausted, the virtual answer sheets are collected and swapped for marking. You may not win anything tangible, but pride is at stake. The Championship Manager series of games for PC is rightly revered for its huge database of clubs, players and their respective stats.
