Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo, Sony Playstation
Cheese lovers of the world, unite! Put down your sandwiches and have a look at what Frontier Developments have brought about with Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo, a 3D epic with the requisite W&G humour. We're not surprised to see them on PS2, just a little taken aback with just how good this game is. The diabolical penguin Feathers has incarcerated all the baby animals of the zoo in order to persuade their parents to do his bidding and manufacture gems from coal using the incredible 'Diamond-o-Matic'. But Wallace and Gromit have sensed the fishy presence of Feathers and have developed an elaborate plan to infiltrate his domain. And so the duo construct the most integral part of their scheme, the Trojan Penguin. When the giant wooden bird is placed at the zoo gates, Feathers' narcissistic personality embraces the 30-foot tribute and makes it the zoo centerpiece. Unbeknownst to Feathers, Wallace and Gromit reside in the Trojan Penguin, complete with lamp and armchair. At night, the pair can start their amazing adventure... Playing as Gromit, and following the dubious hints given by partner Wallace, you'll find yourself traversing some 24 large levels spread across five massive gaming locales. You'll meet many zoo residents and make use of some seriously unconventional tools such as the Porridge Gun and Knitting Machine. You'll also be able to build Springy Boots and mine carts to help you get around the vast game world. It's all good fun.

Fight Night 2004EA Sports is a massive presence in games retail. FIFA, NFL, NHL, NBA, F1, and SSX have all made names for themselves in the industry, as has Knockout Kings. Making a departure from the Knockout Kings franchise, EA has readied another in-depth 'box-em-up' aptly named Fight Night 2004 for PlayStation 2. And it's a departure for more than one reason. A brand new boxing game, Fight Night also boasts a...
UEFA StrikerThe French may have won the World Cup in 1998, but they haven't been able to carry over their impressive form. Not as far as this game is concerned anyway. It's a valiant attempt that really needs a couple of seasons in the top flight before it can mount a serious challenge for honours. The featured international teams are authentic enough, but club teams have been allocated pseudonyms. Fiorentina...

He is woken by the sound of a loud crash and to his horror finds that Odie has completely trashed the house. Garfield checks the clock in the kitchen, it's 4PM and Jon is due back at five. Garfield has to battle against...
Champions: Return to Arms2004 saw the release by SCEA of Champions of Norrath. The game was set in the world of Norrath, which aficionados will recognise as the world of Everquest, the massively multiplayer online RPG which is lauded and cursed equally in recognition of its fiendishly addictive nature. Champions of Norrath, as befits a console-only title, was an action RPG, and its lineage becomes even more clear when you...
RollingGood to see that this game finally made it to retail - it was a pleasant surprise to all of us here at HQ. Another surprise jumped out at us while flicking through the manual. Forgive our ignorance, but we were not aware of Jenna Downing: Jenna, if we ever spot you in a bar or cafe in our neck of the woods, we'll buy you a glass of pop for sure. We know where you live - 'cos we live there too! The...
Rugby 2005Electronic Arts, as holders of the current official license for the sport, have been the only company to publish action-based Rugby Union games for some time now. Their first, in 2000/2001, was developed by Creative Assembly, a software house perhaps better known for their stewardship of the Total War strategy series on PC. Rugby 2004, released to ride the wave of publicity surrounding the Rugby W...
