Delta Force: Urban Warfare, Sony Playstation
Novalogic's biggest PC franchise Delta Force, formerly exclusive to the platform, is finally branching out onto PlayStation in an exclusive release developed by those modest folks at Rebellion. A stealth-strategy game, Delta Force Urban Warfare pits its players against yet another barrage of gun-wielding army guys as you embark on a mission to halt the global threat that lurks at enemy HQ. But you don't have the luxury of commanding an entire team of elite troops a la Rogue Spear and SWAT - you're a lone operative and the world's only hope. Okay, that's a lot of pressure, but it's all in a day's work. But despite having some the world's greatest anti-terrorist weapons at your disposal, your mission is a tasking one, as you come face to face with some cunning and truly unforgiving AI opponents. These guys react to gunfire, dive for cover, employ devious tactical manoeuvres and even pursue the player's trail of blood, should you spill. So it's best that you go unseen, never miss your target, and cover your tracks. Defeating a game of Delta Force is never straightforward task. Nullifying the enemy plays just a small part. You will also be responsible for intercepting enemy communications, capturing prisoners, concealing enemy bodies, rescuing hostages and defusing hidden explosives. Thermal goggles, combat radar, rocket launchers and remote explosives ensure players are always kept thinking as to the best course of action on this enormous espionage mission. Complete with fluid Dual Shock controls, smooth final-generation PlayStation visuals and a compelling narrative, Urban Warfare paves the way for future console Delta Force developments.

WWF AttitudeWWF titles have become one of the most popular console sports titles in recent years. One of these titles goes by the name WWF Attitude. As the title suggests, this game has attitude, and lots of it. There are over forty madmen to choose from, including The Undertaker and his brother Kane. There is fierce wrestling to be had here. There are so-o-o many kicks, punches, throws and grabs here that yo...
RoadstersHave you ever driven a sports convertible in the pouring rain? Ten years ago, I found myself in the passenger seat of a beach buggy, being transported at high speed down the motorway in a light drizzle. Ah, England in the summertime. Suffice to say that Roadsters brought back a few memories. Unlike my beach buggy experience, however, you can choose whether or not to go topless in this game. A nice...
World Rally ChampionshipAs the console reached its first birthday, there weren't too many true rally games available for the PlayStation 2. Admittedly, Gran Turismo 3 offers a great rally mode as a side-attraction, and games like Paris-Dakar Rally are more than adequate. World Rally Championship is the first rallying game that deserves your full attention. Games like Colin McRae Rally demonstrated how much fun this motor...
Legends of Wrestling IIPerhaps the only serious contender to THQ's unstoppable Smackdown series, Acclaim's Legends of Wrestling 2, complete with a sound combat system and familiar faces, is here to give Shut Your Mouth a run for its moolah. Building on the success of the 2001 original, Legends of Wrestling 2 retains its muscle-bound cast of legends, featuring appearances from Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Sid Vicious, Jerry La...
The Next TetrisIn the middle of the 1980's, a fiendishly addictive puzzle game called Tetris was invented in the former Soviet Union. Alexey Pajitnov, the man behind the game, was a guy with a lifelong love of puzzles, and often programmed games to test new computer equipment. In 1985 he decided to program the traditional puzzle Pentamino in real time. However, positioning five-square blocks in such a manner was...
Actua Golf 3Turn your front room into a pro shop and tee off with this fine game. Don't let the relaxing commentary style of Peter Alliss lull you into a false sense of confidence while out on the greens, this game is a heck of a challenge. There are eight courses to play through, on your way to the ultimate prize. Dodgy leisurewear is optional, in the privacy of your own home...
