Digimon World 2003, Sony Playstation
The story of Digimon World 2003 is a simple one, of kids' playtime soured by intrusion of technological ineptitude. Time to let loose the digital monsters and save the day, in a parallel universe kind of way. 12 year old Junior and his friends Teddy and Ivy are at home, playing Digimon Online. In this game within the game (spooky!) Junior, Teddy and Ivy enter the Digital World and travel on an exciting adventure with their Digimon. But one fateful day, when the friends are in the middle of a game, an accident occurs and they become trapped inside the Digital World. As an interested observer (which of course you are) it is now up to you to save the Digimon and rescue your friends. This involves a lot of traversing between the real world and the Digimon World, and it's all done in that peculiar Bandai way, you know, where everything makes sense to the children while adults are generally left dumbfounded by what's going on. What's new with the 2003 version is 24 original Digimon have been created especially for the game. Put these alongside the 200+ Digimon already present, and it's virtual pet simulation a-go-go. Definitely one for the young 'uns.

EyeToy: GrooveEyeToy: Play caused a sensation when it launched in the UK earlier this year. It is quite simply an amazing idea, the kind of idea that makes you truly believe that Sony is rightfully atop the gaming tree. Powered by a USB camera, at no point is a joypad required. Instead, all gameplay and menu navigation is controlled via the motion-sensing camera and software set, an idea so innovative and pure,...
Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the MovieSome might say that there's only one Kong in videogames, and we all know who that is: Donkey Kong, Mario's first opponent. Games lore has it that Shigeru Miyamoto gave his ape villain his first name because he wanted to convey a sense of stubbornness. More whimsical observers have quipped that it was a spelling mistake, and those 'crazy Japanese fellows' wanted him to be called Monkey Kong. Whatev...
MonopolyHasbro Interactive has a greater reputation for developing family video games perhaps over any other genre in the industry. Mention Monopoly to almost anyone and they will surely recognise the name, and with Hasbro's release of the classic board game on PlayStation, it's time to gather around the telly and put your opponents out of business.. Obviously, and specific to the European version, the bo...

As you would expect, Pandora Tomorrow ...
Crash Bandicoot 3: WarpedThat's warped as in time-warp, in case you were wondering about the possibility of this game bending your mind too much. Yes, Crash is back, with the lovely Coco in tow, invited once more to do battle with the evil Neo Cortex, this time sounding uncannily like actor Kelsey Grammer, of 'Frasier' and 'Sideshow Bob' fame. Cortex is up to his old tricks again, trying to take possession of the gems and...
