Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sony Playstation
The TV series may have breathed its last, but Buffy and the Scooby-type gang continue to live on in video games, courtesy of Vivendi and Fox, in Chaos Bleeds for PlayStation 2. The vampires are once again attacking Buffy and her companions, and in a typical Buffy storyline, there's a dark and sinister force behind the mysterious goings on. All you have to do is stay alive, find the demon and kill him - but of course it's never that simple... Your adventure begins in the Magic Box magic shop, in which Buffy, Willow, Xander and Spike are under attack from myriad vampires and Tara and Anya are missing. It's here where you'll learn the basics of the game. Beginning as heroine Buffy, you must beat your enemies to a pulp before staking them where it hurts. It's a simply case of punch, kick, stab, then move on to the next. After that, you'll assume control of Willow, where you'll learn about magic, before moving on to Xander and Spike. The game often switches between characters, and each fighter has a slightly different fighting style. Weapons such as bows and battleaxes are lying around to make your adventure a little easier, as well as a selection of magic spells and the occasional wooden stake. Fight a bit, move on, then fight some more - that's the essence of gameplay in Chaos Bleeds. Voice-overs from some of the the cast members adds authentic whiny teenage dialogue to the mix. Visually, the game world is nothing special but it offers solid and convincing gaming locales and a few neat special effects. Chaos Bleeds really is quite close to an episode from the series with regard to style and presentation, and Buffy fans are going to love it.

They're all here in Everybody's Golf 2. Whereas the majority of golfing games on the market sometimes take themselves far too seriously, Everybody's Golf 2 is everything the title promises, an experience which we can all enjo...

Small SoldiersWhen Small Soldiers was released on the big screen back in 1998, the kids loved it. Or so they said. Here, you live as a Gargon in a time when the Small Soldiers, commanded by Chip Hazard (played by Tommy Lee Jones) have...

And the Dynasty Warriors games have always been proud to call the PlayStation their home, with all five games to date remaining exclusive to the Sony system, not to mention the spin-off Samurai Warriors games, which conc...
Monopoly PartyMonopoly Party, then. Just how many more twists and turns can the legendary board game take before we break out the battered old Waddingtons box and play it like it used to be played. Well, at least one more twist by the looks of things. Monopoly as a video game or on PC never really got the interactive bit right. Waiting for your hat or boot to move at it's leisurely pace was frankly frustrating....
Fight Night Round 3Fight Night Round 3 signals the return of the sweaty man mountain in shiny shorts x2 and the only real competitor to take to the ring in 2006. Where have all the boxing games gone? Well effectively, they're all here in EA's third tilt at the heavyweight title, if we must use pugilist parlance. You really wouldn't need any of the other pretenders, even if there were any. Fight Night Round 3 hits th...
