Cabela's Dangerous Hunts, Sony Playstation
In the world of video games, there are mainstream games, hardcore games, and some games that you just wouldn't expect to see the light of day. But that's not to say they aren't welcome. On this occasion were here to take a look at Cabela's Dangerous Hunts, a politically incorrect shoot-em-up of sorts that applies a 'kill or be killed' philosophy to the controversial sport of hunting. Dangerous Hunts essentially delivers an intense hunting adventure set in a variety of exotic locations from all over the world. Armed with stealth-like abilities and a deadly weapon, your job is to risk your virtual butt in order to shoot down and capture some rather large 'game'. The 27-strong library of creatures includes bears, leopards, rhinos and buffalos, and each comes with its own dangers and weaknesses. To compensate (but not too much), Dangerous Hunts affords up and coming hunters an arsenal of weapons that comprises of 11 rifles, two bows, a crossbow and three knives just in case things turn pear-shaped. To some, Dangerous Hunts is morally challenged, but at the end of the day it's just a light-hearted shoot-em-up that's fun to play. This isn't the real world folks, so whip out yer guns and enjoy.
