Duel Masters: Limited Edition, Sony Playstation
Duel Masters, among the purest of card-battling games in the genre, brings all the excitement of the collectable trading card game developed by Wizards of the Coast to PS2, with stunning 3D anime-style visuals that take their cue from the striking card art and the animated Duel Masters television series. In the main game, the player assumes the role of one of five distinct characters, each aligned with one of the five powerful Duel Masters civilisations - Fire, Nature, Water, Light and Darkness. As campaigns are played through as each of the different characters, the player learns about every one, eventually unveiling an underlying story before bringing all the characters together towards the end of the adventure for climactic finish. As with the Duel Masters trading card game and Sempai Legends for Game Boy Advance, collecting the cards, building a powerful deck, and duelling are at the heart of the game. However, instead of being only turn-based, Duel Masters on PS2 offers the option of playing in real time, resulting in frantically-paced and action-packed gameplay rarely seen in such games. Throughout the game, the characters face many challenging opponents - some friendly, some less so - and visit a host of different locales before ending up at a great Tournament, the outcome of which will have implications reaching far beyond the 'normal' world!

Well, 22 years is a long time, especially in the world of video games, and a lot has happened in that time. Acti...
Hunter the Reckoning: WaywardThe burgeoning Hunter brand makes a move onto the PlayStation 2 with the release of Wayward, returning players to the sleepy town of Ashcroft, two years after the events of the original Hunter: The Reckoning. Two years that have remained peaceful, to be more specific, but obviously that's not set to last - a cult has formed underground and now events reminiscent of the past are starting to occur a...

Savage SkiesOriginally known as Ozzy's Black Skies, this game was supposed to feature none other than the legendary rock god Ozzy Osbourne. Alas, things didn't work out for some reason or another, but Savage Skies is still essentially the same flying dragon-based shoot-em-up - the only difference being that there's no longer a Brummie metalhead mounted atop the creatures. The game itself is dubbed as a creatu...
