Black and BruisedHave you ever asked yourself where the fun is in gaming these days? It's true that in some genres, the humorous and comedic approach to games has gone on the back burner in favour of seriousness and realism, particularly with ring sports such as Rocky and Prince Naseem Boxing. But Ready 2 Rumble from Midway reminded us how much of a laugh a game can be. Now Vivendi has taken boxing humour a step f...
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of DarknessThe history of Lara Croft dates back to 1996 when Tomb Raider debuted on Sega Saturn. The games are playable enough, though the driving sections are pretty tough for introductor...

In the same way that if God didn't want us to eat animals, he surely, in all his divine wisdom, wouldn't have made them out of meat. And although a village pig slaughter in Tuscany - blood-catching and all - may not be too much fun, flying around in the world's most expensive military aircraft locking sidewinders most certainly is. So there's a balan...
Suikoden IINot many role-playing games make it over to Western shores, since they are not considered to be popular over here. In 1997, Squaresoft proved otherwise with its hugely popular Final Fantasy series. Ever since that momentous day, there has been a notable increase in shipments of RPG games. When Konami released Suikoden back in 1997 it proved successful enough to warrant a sequel. Three years later,...
