Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Nintendo GameCube
The legacy of Tony Hawk's name lives on in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Players can choose to ride as Tony Hawk, the name in contemporary skateboarding, or as one of twelve other pro skaters, including Elissa Steamer, Jamie Thomas, Steve Caballero, Rune Glifberg, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Rodney Mullen, Eric Koston, Chad Muska, Bucky Lasek, Kareem Campbell, and MTV's Jackass nutter-in-residence, Bam Margera The graphics, animations, tricks and bails are even more insane than before because Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 takes full advantage of all the advanced features found in the GameCube. Players perform hundreds of tricks and combos with an intuitive and solid control scheme in a variety of incredibly realistic, obstacle-filled locations. And for the ultimate in skateboarding fun there are expanded multiplayer modes and a skate park editor for increased re-playability. Pro Skater 3 features real-world locations: massive, realistic, living levels with interactive people and intelligent traffic. Gamers can expect to see cars stop at intersections and honk their horns at skaters in locations such as the foundry, the cruise ship and international airport. The Career Mode has been completely updated giving players more character-specific goals, involving interaction with pedestrians, traffic, other skaters and more. The game is also better balanced for the beginner as well as the expert player. The movie rewards (available on completion of certain tasks) are the best skating footage available in streaming video using DVD capabilities. With the updated camera work and scripted events that reward successful goal completion, Career Mode is one of the most comprehensive skating modes ever, and infuriatingly addictive to boot.

IkarugaThe fact that Infogrames signed Ikaruga is amazing enough. The fact that it will be released exclusively for GameCube cements this 1999 coin-op in the annuls of history as perhaps the greatest triumph of gamer demand over what has to be seen as key strategic and financial sense. Ikaruga began life as a low-key arcade title some years ago, released only into Japan on Sega's Naomi board. And amazing...
FIFA Football 2005Well, what do you do when the masterful Thierry Henry has gone and transferred to Pro Evolution Soccer? Get his club captain signed up along with Morientes and the deadly Andriy Shevchenko, that's what. FIFA Football 2005 arrives on GameCube in the UK with no online functionality, something that may mean paltry sales in the end, but at least it's here - it'd be rude not to have a closer look at le...
Resident Evil 2In 1996, Capcom revived a near dead survival horror genre when it unleashed a surprise hit on PlayStation. That game was Resident Evil. It quickly became one of the industry's most prominent game series and, quite rightly, went on to sell millions. A sequel was inevitable, and despite a series of setbacks and re-designs, finally got its eagerly awaited release in March 1998. Again, millions of cop...
Smuggler's Run: WarzonesWhen Rockstar made the decision to develop Smuggler's Run, it was inevitable that the game's controversial theme alone would sell the game. Sex, and particularly violence, are now intermittent visitors to video games, but smuggling is something rarely touched upon. Smuggler's Run's success isn't solely founded on immoral plot lines - it's also a really good game. Now it's coming to GameCube. Offer...

The series comes once more to your favourite console in the form of Medal of Honor: European Assault.
