Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Nintendo GameCube
The legacy of Tony Hawk's name lives on in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Players can choose to ride as Tony Hawk, the name in contemporary skateboarding, or as one of twelve other pro skaters, including Elissa Steamer, Jamie Thomas, Steve Caballero, Rune Glifberg, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Rodney Mullen, Eric Koston, Chad Muska, Bucky Lasek, Kareem Campbell, and MTV's Jackass nutter-in-residence, Bam Margera The graphics, animations, tricks and bails are even more insane than before because Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 takes full advantage of all the advanced features found in the GameCube. Players perform hundreds of tricks and combos with an intuitive and solid control scheme in a variety of incredibly realistic, obstacle-filled locations. And for the ultimate in skateboarding fun there are expanded multiplayer modes and a skate park editor for increased re-playability. Pro Skater 3 features real-world locations: massive, realistic, living levels with interactive people and intelligent traffic. Gamers can expect to see cars stop at intersections and honk their horns at skaters in locations such as the foundry, the cruise ship and international airport. The Career Mode has been completely updated giving players more character-specific goals, involving interaction with pedestrians, traffic, other skaters and more. The game is also better balanced for the beginner as well as the expert player. The movie rewards (available on completion of certain tasks) are the best skating footage available in streaming video using DVD capabilities. With the updated camera work and scripted events that reward successful goal completion, Career Mode is one of the most comprehensive skating modes ever, and infuriatingly addictive to boot.

BionicleThey certainly don't make Lego like they used to. Back in the old days, all we had were simple rectangular bricks, a few little yellow dudes with painted-on faces and, if we were really lucky, some wheels so we could build some kind of poor excuse for a car. These days we're spoilt for choice - take Bionicle, for example: a world unto itself, Bionicle tells of the adventures of the inhabitants of ...
The Simpsons: Hit and RunFor the first time, the famous Matt Groening universe has been fully opened up in virtual form thanks to this latest Simpsons title. Evidently inspired by the likes of Grand Theft Auto 3, The Simpsons: Hit and Run is a mission-based driving adventure, complete with platform-esque, pedestrian action, which plunges players into a faithfully recreated town of Springfield. A rather murky plot lies at ...
