Medal of Honor: European Assault, Nintendo GameCube
Since its debut in 1999, Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor franchise has continued its work as official flagship FPS IP. The series comes once more to your favourite console in the form of Medal of Honor: European Assault. The last MOH game to appear on consoles was Frontline, which charged the player with the sabotage of the top secret Nazi weapon, the HO-IX Flying Wing. In European Assault, you step into the boots of Lieutenant William Holt, the Army officer appointed as the first member of the newly formed Office of Strategic Services, or OSS. Your job will be to participate in some of the biggest battles in war torn Europe, gathering intelligence wherever you go. Once again, EA's Los Angeles team that brought you other games in the franchise have worked closely with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and the celebrated Captain Dale Dye to ensure that the game conveys both the atmosphere of WWII and the ethos of the Medal of Honor decoration. Immerse yourself in the chaos of an open battlefield, keeping in cover as you race to complete objectives. Additional, non-essential objectives will help you later in the game if you take the time, but the battlefield is rendered in real time so you'll have to hurry. Feud with enemy officers and lay your grudges to rest on the battlefield. Leave your squad in no doubt as to your wishes with simple and intuitive controls. Get nasty with the all new Adrenaline mode: charge up your Adrenaline bar by attending the wounded and dropping people with head shots. Unleash its power and you'll become invulnerable and able to despatch foes with a single shot... but only for a short length of time. Featuring levels set in the Battle of the Bulge and the battle of Stalingrad, MOH: EA could be your best chance to experience first hand on console the war in Europe, at its bloody, desperate, courageous heights in 1942.

Super Metroid was a remarkable game, but it was sadly overlooked, laying the series to rest for almost a decade. Metroid Prime, however, gave the series a new lease of life as a first-person shooter that, despite a series of delays and set backs, was a reso...

FIFA Football 2004Seeing as the GameCube misses out on the majesterial Pro Evolution Soccer 3, Electronic Arts' offering can surely plug the gap with ease. The most trumpeted feature in FIFA 2004 is EA's new trademarked 'Off the Ball' Control. It does exactly what it says on the tin: le...
SSX 3Electronics Arts' SSX was unarguably a huge success, a great launch title for PlayStation 2 and a real coup for one of the world's biggest software houses. It paved the way for a sequel and quickly spread to other platforms. More than a year on from SSX Tricky's GameCube release, the third instalment is ready for Nintendo's little box of loveliness. Taking place at a brand new boarding location, p...
Spider-Man 2: The MovieAlways popular in video games, Marvel's Spider-Man has graced consoles for many years, but of course it wasn't until the dawn of PlayStation and Saturn et al that the spandex-clad super-hero was born in 3D. 2002's Spider-Man, based upon the movie of the same name, was once the most successful offering, but that all changes with Spider-Man 2, Activision's next 3D-action game, based on the Sam Raimi...
Disney Sports BasketballNow an established series on GameCube, the Disney Sports games, developed in conjunction with Konami, have proved that official licenses and complex gameplay doesn't necessarily make a good sports game. Another fine example of this is Disney's latest offering, Disney Sports Basketball for GameCube. First and foremost, the Disney brand is what will attract younger audiences to these sports games an...
